JULIA'S JOY VOICE IDOL FINALE FEBRUARY 23rd

Tickets are now on sale! Pillars of Light and Love is hosting our 7th Julia's Joy Voice Competition as part of our youth empowerment programs created in memory of Julia Morath. Contestants from ages 11-18 auditioned to compete in our Julia's Joy Voice Idol Competition, and since November have completed free vocal and performance coaching! On February 2nd, 17 contestants competed and the TOP FIVE were announced in each age category will compete on February 23 to win a $500 Grand Prize. Our Finale will held in the beautiful Verge Church stage!

Contestants have been receiving free performance coaching and confidence building since mid-November from former winners, Elyssa Duggan (2024), Samantha Schoenewald (2024), CeCe Montalbano (2023), Gracie O'Malley (2023), and Colin Mash (2020), and one of last year's judges, Jo-Ann Bonanno. Coaching will continue up to the Finale.

The Julia's Joy program was created in 2017 in memory of 14 year-old Julia Morath.  The Julia's Joy Youth Empowerment Program called "Empowering U" is currently in production with plans to bring it to schools everywhere. The program, comprised of 25 weeks of lesson plans, teach children in grades K-12 about stress and life management, healthy coping and relationships skills, anti-bullying, resilience and confidence building!
