Supports Children Affected by Addiction
In Memory of Andy Tuturice
Andy’s Angels in PA is a program of Pillars of Light & Love that supports children of parents who lost their lives to opioid addiction, or parents who are in recovery.
PROVIDING HOPE
Andy’s Angels was created in November 2018 by Lauren Mancini in memory of her cousin, Andrew J. Tuturice, pictured here with his two children. Andy was a loving father who lost his life to addiction at just 36 years old.
The program began with a Christmas donation drive that raised more than $1,500 and provided gifts for 12 children in Montgomery County and surrounding communities whose families had been affected by addiction or overdose loss. What began as one holiday drive has grown into an ongoing mission to raise awareness, support children, and bring hope to families.
Thanks to the continued generosity of Andy’s Angels supporters, Pillars of Light & Love is also able to offer a free monthly support group for children, friends, and family members grieving the loss of a loved one to an overdose.
